Syrian Observatory activists have reported seeing large Russian military column of tens of vehicles carrying military and logistical supplies, heading from Al-Qamishli to Ain Issa. It is worth noting that the column set off from Al-Qamishli to Amuda and Tal Tamr in Al-Hasakah countryside, then it headed to Ain Issa in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah. Meanwhile, Russian helicopters were seen flying over the area.
On September 19, Observatory activists monitored a Russian convoy comprising tens of vehicles carrying logistical supplies, weapons and ammunition, heading from M4 highway to Al-Qamishli airbase, a Russian military base in north-east Syria region.
A day earlier, regime military reinforcement of 15 buses carrying soldiers and logistical supplies arrived in regime positions in the 93rd Brigade in Ain Issa area, north of Raqqa province.
