A brutal war is looming between the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah and Israel.
The Iran-backed radicals began firing anti-tank missiles and drones at Israel Oct. 8, one day after Hamas carried out its mass slaughter of 1,200 Israelis.
Since the start of Operation Iron Swords (October 7, 2023), the Houthi campaign in the Red Sea area has escalated and drawn in many participants, the most important of which are the United States, Britain and Iran, whose involvement has increased. Initially the Houthis launched missiles and UAVs at Israel, but their tactics gradually morphed into attacking ships sailing in the Red Sea and near the coast of Yemen which they identified as “having connections to Israel.”
Former Iranian cultural attaché to Lebanon Mohammad Mehdi Shariatmadar said on a January 26, 2024 show on Asharq News TV (Saudi Arabia) that all the bullets, rockets, and UAVs fired against Israel from anywhere, such as south Lebanon or Palestine, were “either made in Iran or the product of Iranian training.” He said that no one else gave a single bullet to the “Palestinian resistance movements.”
In a recent editorial, Pakistan’s Urdu daily, Roznama Jasarat, accused the United States of spreading war in the Middle East by firing “rockets from Yemen, or [from] some other direction to divert attention from Israeli atrocities” and by taking the issue to the UN Security Council.
“America, Israel, and Britain are now trying to convince the world that many countries of the world have heated up the front against Israel. For this, they have also targeted the opposition in Lebanon and Houthi bases in Yemen,” says the editorial, which is titled: “Defeated America Fomenting Wars In The World,” and was in Roznama Jasarat, an Urdu-language newspaper published by Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan.
Houthi-Yemeni military expert Brigadier-General Abdul Ghani Al-Zubaidi explained on a January 25, 2024 show on Al-Alam TV (Iran) how Yemen’s geography allows it to reach various targets. He said that Yemenis can hit targets at sea from the land and close the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Al-Zubaidi further said that Yemen can target military bases in the Gulf as well the interests of the U.S., Britain, and any other country that “participated in the aggression” against Yemen.
Mark Wallace told The Sun that Iranian terror chiefs should be preparing to be wiped out as the only “correct action” is a large-scale blitz of their military bases inside Iran.
Wallace, former US ambassador to the UN, said: “President Biden established his red line with Iran, which was that if any US soldiers were killed, he would act decisively – that line has been crossed.”
