L’armée togolaise a affirmé mardi 23 août avoir repoussé une attaque menée lundi soir par des « groupes armés terroristes » ayant fait « quelques blessés » dans le village de Blamonga, dans l’extrême-nord du pays. Il s’agit de la cinquième attaque perpétrée depuis novembre 2021 dans cette partie du Togo, en proie à des incursions des groupes djihadistes présents de l’autre côté de sa frontière, au Burkina Faso.
