Plusieurs jeunes présidents de partis politiques se sont regroupés au sein d’un rassemblement dénommé » Forces Patriotiques pour la Refondation du Mali (FPR-Mali) » afin de soutenir la transition politique. Pour ces leaders politiques, cette période transitoire de 18 mois est une opportunité et ouvre une meilleure ère pour réaliser le changement tant attendu afin de refonder l’Etat et procéder à l’avènement de la 4è République. A cet égard, ils se sont félicités de la désignation du président et du Vice-président de la Transition, respectivement Colonel-major à la retraite Bah N’Daw et Colonel Assimi Goïta.

One dead, multiple injured in clashes between GNA factions in Libya’s Tajoura

One person was killed and multiple others were wounded during clashes between different groups within the Government of National Accord (GNA) in the Libyan town of Tajoura, according to Al Arabiya sources.

No further details were provided.

Since 2014, Libya has been split, with a government controlling the capital, Tripoli, and the northwest, while military leader Khalifa Haftar in Benghazi rules the east.

Haftar is supported by the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Russia, while the GNA is backed by Turkey.

State of Alert in Southern Syria After Targeting Russian Faction

The Russian-backed “Fifth Corps” have carried out an inspection campaign after some of the Corps’ members were targeted in Busra.

As crimes and assassinations continue in Southern Syria, Busra – which is the stronghold of the Fifth Corps – witnessed the first assassination attempt of a prominent leader last Saturday, Sep. 18. An explosive device blasted in a neighborhood in Busra, targeting a military vehicle carrying Ali Bash and Qasim al-Miqdad, two leaders of the Fifth Corps group.

Turkish artillery attacks on residential buildings in Al-Hasakah province in Syria

Russian media report that Turkish artillery and pro-Turkish military units have launched an artillery attack in Al-Hasakah province.

According to local sources, the artillery strikes were aimed at residential buildings in the vicinity of the city of Abu Rasin. The attacks by Turkish and pro-Turkish troops were carried out on September 24th, according to Russian media.
