Terrorisme djihadiste: un sujet délicat au Burkina Faso

Les attaques djihadistes continuent de susciter la consternation mais aussi des interrogations sur la stratégie mise en place par la junte au pouvoir pour y mettre un terme.

Au Burkina Faso, à la suite de la mort, vendredi dernier, de 51 soldats tués lors d’une attaque djihadiste sur l’axe Déo-Oursi, dans la province de l’Oudalan au Sahel, les Burkinabè sont en deuil. Certains s’interrogent aussi sur la stratégie mise en place par la junte au pouvoir mais personne n’ose émettre des réserves par crainte de représailles. 160 djihadistes auraient par ailleurs été tués selon le bilan actualisé de l’état-major général de l’armée burkinabè et des opérations de ratissages se poursuivraient dans cette zone.

50 Soldiers Die In Burkina Faso Attack

The army in Burkina Faso says more than 50 soldiers were killed in an attack by presumed Islamists in the north.

It said in a statement that 51 bodies had been found so far, several soldiers were still missing and three wounded soldiers had been evacuated from the scene.
