Le Niger se dote d’un pipeline pour exporter son pétrole via le Bénin

À l’horizon 2022, le Niger espère quintupler ses capacités d’exportations d’hydrocarbures, grâce à un nouveau pipeline via Cotonou. Avec cet ouvrage, dont les travaux doivent démarrer en janvier prochain, Niamey entend renforcer sa place dans le cercle des pays producteurs de pétrole sur le continent. Les travaux vont débuter en janvier prochain.

Libération de marins russes kidnappés au large du Cameroun en août

Trois marins russes kidnappés en août par des pirates probablement nigérians au large du Cameroun ont été libérés, a annoncé dimanche la diplomatie russe.

« Trois marins de nationalité russe, libérés de la captivité où ils se trouvaient depuis mi-août, sont arrivés en Allemagne », où se trouve le siège de leur employeur, a annoncé le ministère russe des Affaires étrangères dans un communiqué.
