Al-Qaeda In Yemen Releases Video Of Kidnapped UN Worker: Monitor

Al-Qaeda’s Yemen branch released a video on Saturday showing a United Nations worker who was abducted in the war-torn country more than six months ago, the SITE Intelligence Group reported.

Five UN staff members were kidnapped in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan in February while returning to the port city of Aden “after having completed a field mission,” UN spokesperson Eri Kaneko told AFP at the time.

Israel Mossad Chief: We have started military preparation for a military strike against Iran

Chief of the Israeli Mossad, David Barnea, described the emerging Iranian nuclear deal signed between Iran and world powers as “a strategic disaster” for Israel, and that “Israel has already begun preparations for a military strike against Iran if such action is deemed necessary.”

Israel’s Times of Israel newspaper quoted Barnea saying that the deal is “very bad for Israel” and that the US “is rushing into an Accord that is ultimately based on lies,” in reference to “Iran’s ongoing claim that its nuclear activities are peaceful in nature.”

Israeli Missile Hit Damascus Countryside and Aleppo International Airport

The Syrian army air defences confronted an Israeli missile aggression on some points in Damascus countryside and shot down a number of the missiles.

“about 9.18 p.m., the Israeli enemy carried out an air missile aggression from the direction of Lake Tiberias in northern occupied Palestine, targeting some points southeast of Damascus” a Military source said on Wednesday.
