Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Sudan’s military chief, announced what he described as his “corrective measures,” the country is faced not just with a stalemated transition but also a chaotic, paralyzed political landscape.

Burkina Faso: Allegedly Jihadist Raid Leaves 50 Casualties

On Monday, Burkina Faso authorities reported at least 50 death resulting from an allegedly jihadist attack.

Lionel Bilgo, Burkina Faso Government spokesperson, announced on Monday that 50 people died from the attack reportedly carried out by jihadists in a village in the north of the country.

Arrest of officials, politicians in Tunisia raises controversy

Tunisian authorities arrested a number of officials linked to Ennahda, the main opposing party to President Kais Saied, in connection with the deportation of Tunisians to fight in Syria.

On the morning of Sept. 21, Tunisian authorities released the deputy head of Ennahda movement, Ali Laarayedh, after he was detained on Sept. 20 for questioning in the case of deporting Tunisian jihadists to combat zones a decade ago.

La plupart des drones armés utilisés en Afrique sont produits par des partenaires du Sud, comme la Turquie, la Chine ou encore l’Iran. Et s’ils sont de plus en plus visibles dans les cieux, de la Corne de l’Afrique jusqu’au Sahel, ces déploiements ne suffiront pas à changer la donne face à la menace terroriste, selon des experts.
